The third conference of PACE, the Public affairs community of Europe that gathers the national lobbying associations and Public Affairs professionals of the EU Countries, was held in Paris on May 23th- 24th, hosted by AFCL, the French Association of lobbying consulting.
During two days of discussions, the participants shared the experiences of lobbying activities and the new regulations developments.
Representatives of the OECD were present and exchanged their views as well on the state of art of lobbying regulations.
The event was also attended by two Brussels organizations, SEAP and EPACA, and by the President of the Sarajevo Initiative, Ms. Ana Bovan.
PACE partners have a common view on lobbying, as an activity that allows a better communication between the particular interests and public decision makers.
PACE, founded in 2011 in Rome, aims at becoming the European platform that gathers and promote professional lobbyists with transparency and ethics and provides a strong support to those Countries where a culture on this profession is still meeting.
The conference adopted the very first principles approved by National Associations for Public Affairs Professionals at pan-European level, inspired by the values of transparency, fairness and ethical behaviors.
