PACE Annual Summit brought together public affairs professionals from across Europe for a rich and inspiring programme. The highlight was the PACE Conference 2026, held at the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain, a fitting venue for conversations that matter for our profession at the European level. With over 100 participants, the energy in the room was remarkable.
The agenda was packed with substance:
🔹 An in-depth panel on lobbying regulation updates across six European countries, including Bulgaria, Czechia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Romania, is a timely and essential conversation as the regulatory landscape continues to evolve;
🔹 A compelling interview on the new horizons of AI in Public Affairs and what it means for our profession;
🔹 A fascinating presentation on key findings from the Overview of the Public Affairs Sector in Spain;
🔹 Rich stakeholder insights on the challenges facing public affairs professionals today;
🔹 And an exceptional keynote by Charles Powell from the Elcano Royal Institute on Europe’s current geopolitical and economic moment, a truly outstanding contribution to close the conference programme.
The day continued with the PACE General Assembly 2026, where members came together for important decisions and discussions. It was a meaningful and memorable gathering, and we will be sharing the outcomes and announcements with our community in the coming days.
We were pleased to sign the agreement between PACE, APRI, and the University of Salamanca, a significant step for our community, followed by a workshop on the responsible use of AI in Public Affairs, featuring insights from leading voices in the field.
A very special thank you to Asociación de Profesionales de las Relaciones Institucionales (APRI) for their outstanding organisation and flawless hospitality throughout the entire Summit.
To every participant, member, speaker, moderator, and partner — Thank you!
These conversations matter, and together we are shaping the future of public affairs in Europe.
See you at the next one!
