Greece – Georgios LimperisGeorge Limperis: is a graduate of the Economic University of Athens. He has worked as product manager for Lever Hellas, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Ionian and Popular Bank, Managing Director of Mediacces and Public Affairs Management of the Olympic – DDB group. In May 2001 he founded Palladian Communications Specialists. In his long professional career he was responsible among other for the Ionian Bank Rebranding and the first sponsorships at the Athens Concert Hall for which he has received several awards. As Director of Communication and Publicity he has gained experience and expertise by participating as project manager in numerous and varied projects. Mr. Limperis is member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Communication Agencies, member of the Board of the Hellenic- American Union and founding member of the “Society of Cultural Affairs”. He is also a member of the Economic Chamber, the Greek Company of Business Administration, the Association of Chief Executive Officers and the Foreign Press Association.The Hellenic Association of Communication Agencies was founded in 1968 as the professional organisation representing the advertising market in Greece. In 2000, HACA members took a historical step, as they decided unanimously its enlargement and transformation into an organisation representing the wider communications industry. The institutional role of HACA is to represent the member companies vis a vis relevant public authorities.
Since 1995, HACA (under Article 9 of Law 2328/1995) has the obligation to contribute to the proper and efficient functioning of the committees evaluation of tenders of the Public Sector. HACA is certainly the most representative associations in Greece and covers 95% of the turnover of the market and more than 3,500 employees in the companiesmembers. HACA represents the industry also abroad, is a member of the European Association of Communication Agencies (EACA), the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), the Federation of European Direct & Interactive Marketing (FEDMA) and the Integrated Marketing Communications Council Europe (IMCCE).
